The tebibit is a multiple of the bit, a unit of digital information storage, prefixed by the standards-based multiplier tebi (symbol Ti), a binary prefix meaning 240.[1][2] The unit symbol of the tebibit is Tibit or Tib.

1 tebibit = 240 bits = 1099511627776bits = 1024 gibibits[3]

The tebibit is closely related to the terabit, the corresponding unit using the metric prefix tera, which is 1012 bits.

The binary prefixes are not part of the International System of Units (SI).
