ABC Studios adalah studio televisi yang dimiliki oleh Disney-ABC Television Group. Perusahaan ini berdiri dengan nama Touchstone Television pada tahun 1985 dan berganti nama sebagai ABC Studios sejak tahun 2007

Sejarah

Perusahaan ini mengawali inkarnasinya dari Touchstone Pictures, salah satu unit dari Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group. Perusahaan ini bertugas memproduksi serial TV yang ditujukan untuk ABC, ABC Family, Lifetime Television dan beberapa stasiun TV lain, terutama CBS, NBC, USA, The CW dan FX.

Pada tanggal 8 Februari 2007, sesuai dengan hasil konferensi investor Disney, Disney-ABC Television Group mengganti nama dari Touchstone Television menjadi ABC Television Studio. Tujuannya untuk meneruskan strategi mereka untuk fokus pada tiga inti merek: Disney, ABC, ESPN. Pada bulan Mei 2007, namanya disederhanakan lagi menjadi ABC Studios.

Pada tanggal 22 Januari 2009, Disney-ABC Television Group menggabungkan unit usaha ABC Entertainment dan ABC Studios dalam kelompok baru bernama ABC Entertainment Group.^[1][2]

Disney-ABC Television Group memotong 5% dari hasil kerja mereka.^[3]
