Minyak nabati adalah Trigliserida yang diekstrak dari tanamans. Beberapa minyak tersebut telah menjadi bagian dari kebudayaan manusia dalam waktu yang lama.[1]

Bunga matahari, bijinya adalah sumber dari minyak bunga matahari.
Semuanya juga dapat digunakan sebagai minyak bakar.
- Minyak kelapa, sebuah minyak goreng[2]
