Stadion ini adalah satu-satunya stadion serbaguna yang masih ada yang digunakan sebagai kandang dari dua klub olahraga yaitu Oakland Athletics yang berlaga di Major League Baseball dan Oakland Raiders yang berlaga di National Football League.

Stadion ini juga pernah menjadi kandang dari San Jose Earthquakes anggota dari Major League Soccer yang menggunakan stadion ini untuk beberapa pertandingan besar selama musim 2008–2009. Stadion ini juga pernah menjadi tuan rumah dari pertandingan pada Piala Emas CONCACAF 2009.
