Objektivitas (ilmu)

Objektifitas atau objektif dalam keilmuan berarti upaya-upaya untuk menangkap sifat alamiah (mengindentifikasi) sebuah objek yang sedang diteliti/ dipelajari dengan suatu cara dimana hasilnya tidak tergantung pada fasilitas apapun dari subjek yang menyelidikinya. Keobjektifan, pada dasarnya, tidak berpihak, dimana sesuatu secara ideal dapat diterima oleh semua pihak, karena pernyataan yang diberikan terhadapnya bukan merupakan hasil dari asumsi (kira-kira), prasangka, ataupun nilai-nilai yang dianut oleh subjek tertentu.
