Óscar Esaú Duarte Gaitán (born 3 June 1989) is a Nicaraguan born Costa Rican football player, currently playing for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League, and for the Costa Rica national football team.[1] He plays as a defender.[2]
He scored a goal on a header to give Costa Rica a 2-1 lead in their opening game of the 2014 World Cup against Uruguay, helping the team to a 3-1 victory.[3]
