Pak Seung-Jin (11 January 1941 – 5 August 2011) was a North Korean footballer.[1] He represented North Korea at the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England, scoring two goals, against Chile and Portugal.

Career

After the FIFA World Cup, he was reportedly imprisoned for 12 years in the Yodok concentration camp for allegedly celebrating the team's victory over Italy in a bar, which was seen as "a sign of bourgeois decadence" by North Korean officials,[2] although this is little more than rumor, and has been denied by the players themselves.
