Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley[1] (lahir 18 April 1987) adalah seorang model dan aktris asal Inggris yang dikenal sebagai model Victoria's Secret dan Burberry, juga atas perannya sebagai Carly Spencer dalam film Transformers: Dark of the Moon pada tahun 2011.[2]
Biografi
Huntington-Whiteley lahir di Freedom Fields Hospital, Plymouth, Devon. Ibunya, Fiona (née Jackson), adalah seorang instruktur kebugaran, sedangkan ayahnya, Charles Andrew Huntington-Whiteley, adalah seorang surveyor.[3][4] Kakek buyutnya adalah politisi Sir Herbert Huntington-Whiteley.[5]
Huntington-Whiteley dibesarkan di sebuah peternakan di Tavistock, Devon.[6][7] Pada usia 16 tahun, ia pertama kalinya berpose untuk iklan Levi.[8] Sejak tahun 2006, Huntington-Whiteley menjadi model untuk lini busana lingerie Amerika, Victoria's Secret. Debut permodelannya di Victoria's Secret diawalinya dalam brand's 2006 show di Los Angeles.
Pada bulan Maret 2011, ia didaulat untuk menjadi model sampul majalah Vogue Inggris.[9] Ia dinobatkan sebagai wanita terseksi di dunia oleh FHM pada tahun 2011.[10] Ia juga tampil di sampul depan majalah-majalah ternama seperti Elle dan GQ.[11]
Huntington-Whiteley terpilih sebagai ikon rumah mode Burberry pada bulan Juli 2011.[12][13] Masih pada tahun yang sama, Huntington-Whiteley terpilih sebagai pemeran utama wanita dalam film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, menggantikan Megan Fox.[2]
Dari bulan Agustus hingga Oktober 2009, Huntington-Whiteley berkencan dengan Tyrone Wood, putra bungsu personil Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood.[14][15][16] Setelah itu, Huntington-Whiteley dikabarkan sempat menjalin kasih dengan aktor Perancis Olivier Martinez.[16] Pada bulan April 2010, hubungannya dengan aktor Inggris Jason Statham tercium oleh media setelah mereka berdua kepergok menghadiri acara Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival bersama.[16]
