Growth and market presence
In an April 2011 press release, the company stated that it has over 700 enterprise customers; that its hosting services handle over 2.5 billion HTTP requests per month; and that quarterly revenue increased 300 percent between the first quarters of 2010 and 2011.[5] On August 21, 2012, Acquia was named #8 on the Inc. (magazine) 500 list for 2012, the #1 software company and #8 company in Boston.[6]
