The yobibyte is a standards-based binary multiple (prefix yobi, symbol Yi) of the byte, a unit of digital information storage. The yobibyte unit symbol is YiB.
1 yobibyte = 280 bytes = 1208925819614629174706176bytes = 1024 zebibytes
The yobibyte is closely related to the yottabyte, which is defined as 1024 bytes = 1000000000000000000000000bytes (see binary prefix). The zebi and yobi prefixes were originally not part of the system of binary prefixes, but were added by the International Electrotechnical Commission in August 2005.[1][dead link]
